After lunch, re-board your motor coach and drive to Noto. Noto has been declared a heritage site by UNESCO. Upon arrival leave the coach
and commence your visit on foot. Your first sight is the Porta Nazionale, an imposing gate leading to Noto’s main street, where the most important monuments can be seen. In the city center stands the 18th-century cathedral, currently under restoration after damage suffered during the 1990
earthquake. Other impressive buildings iclude the city hall, the archbishop’s palace, the Sant’Alfano Palace, the Church of Santissimo Salvatore and the Villadorata Palace. After this pleasant walk, return back to the parking area and drive back to the Siracusa port.
